I just wanted to elaborate on the first point - it's fundamentally important to not only change from within, but to really embrace and understand the thing we are trying to change (especially if it's something we think is "bad"). Only by fully accepting and understanding the truth of a situation are we enabled to take rightful action. If we don't understand the real reasons behind an action or situation, then we may take the wrong course of action to "change" that thing (even if it is something within us). How many times have we tried to fix something, only to find out we made it worse because we didn't know something? This is especially true of change in our inner world. We must embrace something, even if that something is extremely painful, in order for us to understand it so completely that we innately understand the right action to make a lasting and positive change. This was an enjoyable quick read.
